Yes they can, but probably not by you if you have to ask. There is a pretty good book on the market now called "Breeding Marine Fishes" which is chock full of all sorts of good info that simply wasn't available even five years ago. It provides the how-to's on some 90 species.
Your tank size is the barest minimum, and only if they have it all to themselves. Shouldn't you be concentrating your efforts on your Roselines? yeah, yeah, out of line, I know, but what IS it with you and rare species Last edited by TheOldSalt; 01-27-2008 at 07:44 AM. |

wow. That was quite the nasty response. Breeding rare fish should be priority . Though the word rare is used when in many cases the fish isn't rare at all. It is just hard to get to, in a restricted area, deep water, or difficult to ship, and many other factors. Why would you react so harshly to someone who is just trying to obtain some information? Regards, Tim

Oh, I dunno... it could be that this guy had been exhibiting a pattern previously of doing goofy, irresponsible stuff that pretty much guaranteed failure, and it was getting tiresome. You just missed all that when you happened along on one thread and decided to make a comment to something six months old.
