Default pleco feeding troubles

my plecos arn't able to feed off the algae wafers i throw in for them as most of my other fish hog them and go aboslutly nuts when they find them, thus scaring the plecs away. they dont seem to interested in the cucumber allthough i do put a peice or 2 of boiled cuc in everynight but it looks pretty untouched inthe morning.. i have a peice of wood in there that they hang on alot and as well i find them riding the leaves of my amazon swords alot at night as well. are they eating this stuff or just hangin off it?? they do a great job keepingthe algae under control. are they getting enough to eat between a bit of algae, wood, and amazon swords? any tricks or ideas on how to keep the other fishes away from the wafers.... thanks

Have you tried tossing the wafers in after lights out?

feed the other fish flakes or granules first, i recommend grandules, and then turn off the lghts and drop some wafers in. Try to fill the other fishes bellies with frozen foods like brine shrimp or blood worms.

If you have a lot of algae in the tank, and depending on the size of the plecs, you may be fine. I onl throw in wafers in my tnak once or twice a week or so and my pleco is always big and fat and happy
