ok so i think i am going to get rid of my 2 jack dempseys....at first i wanted to breed them, now i found out they are 2 female. i would like something more active as these 2 hide most of the time and are very skittish. i was thinking of doing an african setup....and was looking for some ideas on what to keep in the 75g.

i wouldnt mind a more semi-aggressive type.....i am mostly looking for great personality, i dont want fish that will hide all the time. and i really want to make it a colorful tank...i have black sand and black background so i figured some africans could really stand out in there

You have alot of options for a 75g.
This link is to the cookie cutter setups on cichlid-forum.com. You can check out the Mbuna setups and look at the profiles of the different kinds of fish. They even have one for larger, more aggressive Mbuna, if that's what you want to do. I personally like johannis, yellow labs, red zebras, and cobalt zebras. I hope to setup a 75g African tank in the future! Good luck! |

thank you for that link....i had forgot all about that on that site. it is very helpful....i think i might go with the blue and yellow mix. that would look great with the black sand and background, i have it full of fake plants(looks almost real) just need to get some more rockwork
