Default Re: Subtrate for discuses

Sorry...I feel like I am over-posting here.....but I am just remembering the things that were importatnt to me in with my experiences.

If you ever get into a jam...the best damn place to go is www.thatfishplace.com. I do not endorse them, but they rock. Not only are they one of the few that I can get Metronidazole from, the Marine Biologist emails back in no time. They have been great in helping me out. They have a chat night on Thursdays that's really cool because multiple Marine Biologists are on at once.

If you ever get a sick Discus, Metronidazole is the cure all for Discus. I know of people that do monthly treatments to kill any infections that MIGHT be happening. Possibly a bit of overkill...but the fish are healthy. If you see the fish losing slime....get on the Metro.

Also, I read the following and found a bunch of useful info:

Good luck.....sorry for posting like crazy...I'm usually the quiet-reader-guy in forums....but I figure that these forums wouldn't really be here without discussions.
