So i have a breeding set of haplochromis Green Bloyeti. 3 F 1 M. one recently was holding and i had a big ammonia spike. i wanted to make sure i saved the mom so i stripped her so she would eat and be a little healthier. i constructed a DYI egg tumbler and put it in another tank were the water is more ideal. My question is some of the eggs are a light tan color and a few are dark brown. two were white which i read that they were infertile. i could not find anything else. this is my first fry and there is about 12-15. i have a tank awaiting them when they hatch. if anyone has had experience with this any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

the darker eggs were laid first...hard to tell if they will all hatch....put some methylene blue in the tumbler....as soon as the eggs hatch start changing the water...100% daily...
with the ammonia spike it would have been better to just do a bunch of water changes in the main tank..
I have a 10 gal awaiting the fry water is perfect. In the 10 gal. I put the tumble in the 150 and the greens are in a 55 gal. I will be moving fry as they hatch to the 10gal. What were you saying about 100% water changes in what tank did you mean.
