Default A Few Pics Before I Pull The Tank Apart :(

Pulling the tank apart and relocating them to a 3 foot tank instead of this 4 foot to make way for a reef tank

So in the last pic, are there 2 gold barbs and 2 rosy barbs, or 4 gold barbs? I had the 2 bigger barbs to start off with and 3 months later bought 3 more (1 died) and they were sold as gold barbs. Is the difference in the colour because the smaller ones are younger? Or did I buy rosy barbs?

Any comments on the tank are welcome
I just added the bubble curtain. Great effect I think :PatsMrsOnTheBack:

Be careful about downsizing with the bala shark. They need the space and dont like to be confined.

Not sure about the rock. I got it from a job. I'm a landscaper.
The plants are just your average garden plants.
The strappy grass looking plant is Liriope muscari 'Evergreen Giant'
The red one is a dwarf cordyline.
A couple of peace lily or madonna lily's. Spaths
And the big one's are just some climber I grabbed out of the garden.

The plants have really taken off in the tank. If you are going to use garden plants as tank plants make sure that when you brake a branch, no white sap comes out. This sap is toxic to humans so I don't think the fish would appreciate it.

You could even throw in some smaller palms if you wanted. Cascade or parlour palms would be fine.

BTW this tank is now staying as I've just spent some more money and bought 2 48" x 15" x 18" tanks complete with everyting to go. No saltwater for me just yet. I'm delving into the cychlid craze
