Default haven't posted in a while...I'll start off with some fishy pics!

Well i went to Boston over New Year's weekend and being the fish geek that i am, we had to take a visit to the New England Aquarium.
So I took some pictures, and I'm most proud of these.

Spotted gar? Shortnose? Not sure, someone more keen on the gar family can correct me. Anyway I thought this pic came out decent.

Motoro freshwater stingray in the same tank as the gar. One of my favorite fish.

they had some HUGE pacus. 3 or 4 feet long, some of em.

Some teeny jellies.

really pretty copperband butterflyfish.

The best picture I took...i love how this Anthia turned out, i was shocked that my camera could take such a sharp picture. lol

I also forgot to post pics of when I was in Disney World in the summer. e visited shark reef while we were there and went snorkeling through the attraction about 7 times, lol. I took these while snorkeling with my new (at the time) underwater housing.

blue tang. Even though I only got the top of him, i thought it was a cooled pic. hehe

One of the few bonnethead sharks in the pool. They actually, swam pretty close. one came within about 1 to 2 feet from under me. it was awesome.

Another bonnethead hanging out around the sunken ship (observation room for the people too scared to get in...psht.)

My favorite pic of that day. A school of sweetlips.

So yeah, enjoy. Let me know what you think please!

PS
all of these pics were taken with my Canon Powershot A520....nothing fancy!

Great pics! I wish more people had access to see what full size pacus look like. Maybe they wouldn't keep buying them.

Lol.
I forgot/didn't know that it was still there...I'm actually surprised they haven't torn it down and put in something 'new'.
I wouldn't be a fish thing though probably!

Well they kinda did something new....they made a Finding Nemo theme. they even had a tank with all the characters....a percula clown, regal tang, moorish idle (wasnt too happy about this)....maybe more. They kind of got rid of the actual aqauarium part and just put finding nemo crap everywhere. Their "aquarium" was quite large and nicely designed, but it was pretty bare...
