move the aerator to one side or the other, or to the front... this should prevent bubbles from getting sucked up into your filter.

The aerator is a bubble curtain and I like it in the back.

I was thinking of something like a bent tubing or something,, oh well I'll figure something out.

put a sponge on the filter intake... this will prevent the bubbles from making large noises in your filter... *remember to rinse the sponge once in a while to clean in off

You can buy flexible bubble wands, or some you can cut shorter and recap the end. if you decide to put a sponge prefilter over the intake, rinse it weekly, not every once in a while.

Is this the hollow tude type bubbler thingie ot a solid one?
If it is like the cardbord looking thing that is hollow that the caps come off the ends, you can cut them down,
If it;s a solid one, you could take it to your local hardware store and get a peace of clear plasic tubing and slip over it where the filter intake is also.

How this helps
