Default 29 gal stock?

I just accuired a 29gal fish tank for 30 bucks and I was wondering what you think I should put in there... I was thinking chilids and/or maybe moving my 2 pictus cats 1 upside down cat and 1 ropefish into the tank... so lets here those ideas...

I had 2 pictus cats and some tiger barbs in my 29. They got along great

Here are some good things to go with an upside down cat, tho some maybe to big for a 29 gal.

Angels: Angelfish

Barbs: Cherry Barb, Rosy Barb

Catfish: Banjo Catfish, Corydoras Catfish, Small Plecostomus Catfish, Farlowella Catfish, Oticinclus Catfish, Upside Down Catfish, Synodontis Catfish

Danios: Giant Danios, Zebra Danio, Pearl Danios, Leopard Danios, Gold Danios

Cichlids: Orange Chromide

Loach: Small Clown Loach, Kuhlii Loach, Yoyo Loach, Dojo Loach, Weather Loach

Livebearers: Variatus, Moons, Swordtails, Mollies

Glass Fish: Painted Glass Fish

Gouramis: Chocolate Gouramis, Croaking Gouramis, Dwarf Gouramis, Honey Gouramis, Moonlight Gouramis, Pearl Gouramis, Fire Gouramis (Small Blue Gouramis, Small Gold Gouramis)

Rainbowfish: Celebes Rainbowfish

Rasboras: Harlequin Rasbora, Red Lined Rasbora

Sharks: Small Irridescent Shark, Red Tail Shark, Red Rainbow Shark, Tri Color Shark

Tetras: Black Tetra, Black Neon Tetra, Bleeding Heart Tetra, Bloodfin Tetra, Congo Tetra, Diamond Tetra, Emperor Tetra, Flame Tetra, Head & Tail Lite Tetra, Lemon Tetra, Pristella Tetra, Red Eye Tetra, Red Phantom Tetra, Serpae Tetra, Silvertip Tetra

Other Fish: Hemiodus, Penguin, Silver Dollar

Non-Fish: African Frog, Snail

my favorite thing for a 29 would be a pair of convicts. And all you need to decorate the tank with is some flowerpot coves. they are really funny little fish to watch and they get to recognize their owners. they would have to be alone in a 29 though.

^^ yes, please don't. Ditch the painted glass fish.

I believe a ropefish will outgrow a 29g. They get pretty big.

I'd go for some tetras and unpainted glass fish. Or some dwarf neon (praecox) rainbows...stunning fish!

"unpainted" glass fish are called chanda and are Great fish. I loved mine before they all passed on. i would highly recommend you get 4 or 5.

your welcome, but You need to know that that 5gallon is not good. The gouramis need more room, and plecs grow to be 20 inches long.
