I must say, I'm less than impressed. First problem is that it doesn't give temperature ranges for fish, just an arbitrary number. For example, zebra danios are listed as requiring a temp of 27 C. So they would probably die in my tank, which is unheated and has temps of 20-22C, right? No, they are just fine. If you go to other info pages you'll find that they are happy down to about 19C.

Also they don't give you really important info about fish, such as: are they schooling fish? Do they have bad tendencies (like tiger barbs are known to nip fins)?

I don't think I would find it a very useful source of info on fish.
My favorite ones are:
Planet catfish, for catfish
http://www.thetropicaltank.co.uk/ which doesn't have a huge selection of fish, but has good info on the ones it has
http://www.aquahobby.com/e_home.php for fish personalities (has the same problem of the Hartz one of not showing temp ranges)
Badman's Tropical Fish
http://fish.mongabay.com/

Ive won 2 stuffed animals off their games a couple years back. I dont know if they still do it but they use to give away prizes for the high score of their games at the end of each day.

It was hartz.com but it looks like they really re-did their site and got rid of the game section that they had.
