Default glass fish question

I have a 10 gallon tank with a molly, a platy, a guppy, 2 ghost shrimp, and two gold skirt tetras (all very hardy) and wanted to know what i can add. I want glass fish (non-dyed) but don't know if there are any other chooses. Anything that cleans is also welcome because i have a "algea problem"

I'd personally upgrade your tank first, tetras like to be in schools and livebearers are happy when with others of their kind

I'd really like to upgrade but my parents give me a limit to 2 10 gallons or right now i'd be running a 55. The livebearers seem to be happy. They "play" with the tetras. The tetras i bought are suppose to be very hardy and the 2 don't really like each other, one hangs with the platy, and the other with the molly.

if you are limited to 2 10 gallon tanks... (depending on whats in the other tank) I'd combine the two in a tank 40" long (since thats the combine length of 2 10's)
hahah just my take on it...

Now for a serious answer.....
The livebearers need to be in better ratios as stated above. Perferrably 2 females to 1 male. This will make your 1st 10 gallon tank crowded. The tetras should be in groups of 5 or more. Everyone may seem happy but odds are they are stressed. Otos shouldn't be kept in 10 gallon tanks due to their specific water needs. For algae control try more waterchanges and less food. Reduce the light cycle by an hour or 2.

If limited to 2 10G why dont you have a livebearer tank and a tetra tank? IMO I would get rid of everything and start over, livebearers will be producing like crazy and you will have no place for the babies.

You could grab some mosquitofish from your local river/lake/watever, I must say they are really charming and cute, and you never notice that they have no markings. I beleive you have puffers, so theres your solution!

? i've kept otos in a 10 gallon with no troubles what so ever.
Also, glassfish haven't even been mentioned yet have they? lol I wouldn't do it. Many reasons but one being that they are brackish fish.

Whatever you do don't put glass fish in one's and two's they will kill a lot of your fish but will leave them alone if you keep a shoal of five or more.Anyway you would have to change the water to brackish. I wouldn't rcommend it.
