Default His eyes feel out

Ok so last night I look at one of platys and I notice one of his eyes looks kind of messed up, he had looked fine the day before so I thought crap he got some kind of sickness. I don't have the net at home so I went back to the office to see if I could fine out what was wrong. I found out about "pop eye" and figured I could go buy some meds to treat since today is my half day.

Go to check the tank this morning and he is dead with both eyes missing. So do you think it was pop eye or could it have been my ghost knife fish? I never see anyone bother the platys so i shocked that all of a sudden one of the gets killed. I cannot wait to have my other tanks and get these guys spaced out better.

i dont know what it is, but the same thing happened to one of my corydoras a long time ago....he wasnt doing to well, then the next day his eyes were gone....he was still alive, though ....my sisters didnt want me to kill him so for about half a day i let him live and he seemed to be doing alright, except for the fact he couldnt see ....but then i put him down because i didnt see any possible way for him to keep on surviving like that ....besides it seemed really cruel....anyways, all that to say i dont know why that happened....im sorry though....i know what its like.

Try it! It's about eyes' problems and others as well!
PS: I was wron, it was eye cloud, not clouded eye.
I rarely see this and I can't find on my book neither. Just some on the Medicine's packet dose ...

It is very likely that the other fish in the tank had got to him. Many fish get blamed for killing other fish because the owners only see them eating the "dead" after the fact. The fish likely died from somthing else and the knifefish went out for a snack when you werent looking.
