Ok so last night I look at one of platys and I notice one of his eyes looks kind of messed up, he had looked fine the day before so I thought crap he got some kind of sickness. I don't have the net at home so I went back to the office to see if I could fine out what was wrong. I found out about "pop eye" and figured I could go buy some meds to treat since today is my half day.
Go to check the tank this morning and he is dead with both eyes missing. So do you think it was pop eye or could it have been my ghost knife fish? I never see anyone bother the platys so i shocked that all of a sudden one of the gets killed. I cannot wait to have my other tanks and get these guys spaced out better. |

Try it! It's about eyes' problems and others as well! PS: I was wron, it was eye cloud, not clouded eye. I rarely see this and I can't find on my book neither. Just some on the Medicine's packet dose ... Also: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/pic/ar...11&aid=762

It is very likely that the other fish in the tank had got to him. Many fish get blamed for killing other fish because the owners only see them eating the "dead" after the fact. The fish likely died from somthing else and the knifefish went out for a snack when you werent looking.
