I have a community tank with tetras and cory's. I am interested in top dwelling fish. Any suggestions? I don't wanna crowd the mid-section too much. I have a 16g tank. Thanks

How many and what types of tetras do you have? How many corydoras?

hatchet fish are mainly top dwellers, but they can jump high so can be dificult to keep, betta would go nicely in your tank i think, most fish with upturned mouths are top dwellers, rainbow fish, gouramies, and most livebearers hang at the top but do ventue into mid level often.cant think of anymore, bear in mind some of these fish wont be suatable for your tank

I think white clouds are top feeders, and they're easy to take care of.

I have 4 tetras and 4 cory's at the moment. Livebearers often venture into the mid section. I guess there really is no fish that just hangs out on top perhaps hmm. I already have a betta tank.

Like someone else already stated, hatchets would be great, they are strictly top dwellers.

definitely hatchets or upside down cats. However you really don't get a good look of the fish, so IMO not the best value for your buck. Sounds like a good tank the way it is, no sense buying fish you really don't get a chance to see
