Default Omg I Have Fry!

After all this guess what I have in my tank??????

I was watching my two remaining females and checking them out and what do I see? One tiny little fry! There may be more so I have to look for them and quick find something to go over my filter. I think I will shut it down until I can find some pantyhose. And look for fry in the filter who may have survived.

WOW.

cherry barb fry?

congrats. how do you think you got fry if you can't seem to keep the fish alive? seems to me that if you got fry from them they must be happy and thriving.

I don't know how it happened, I only know that the last male died 2 days ago so it had to be before that. I can't find the little guy now, but I put nylon over the filter and the filter looks clear of fry. I fed the females and i am going to get a net to separate them out in a little bit. I'm hoping if they have fed they won't eat the babies, if they haven't already eaten the one I found. I also added extra decorations so the fry have more places to hide. Might be a long shot, I only saw one and I can't find it now. But I will give the females a few days separation and see if any more show up. Maybe it was the first to hatch.

Okay I have a tank separator in which caused much trauma. Thankfully that part is over. They did not have liquifry at the store so I am crushing up the flakes into a fine powder. I put all the rocks and one plant deco on the side with the adults and all the plant decos on the other side. I am going by the "I hope most are on the proper side" method of separation haha. I have only seen one fry on the wrong side so far. I think I have seen 3-4 total, but they appear to be hiding in the gravel, so who knows how many there really are. It is fun to hunt for them though

My camera would never focus on something that small. If any make it to be big enough to photo I will take some and find a place to host the photos. I had to re-do the barrier because there was a gap. I'm not too hopeful with all that chaos, but who knows.
