Clown Knife Question???

i have a 6" clown knife. wondering why he wont really move around. likes to site in the corner all the time. dont really move until late night and when the light is off. anyone know why?

They are not very active fish to begin with, but they are also nocturnal feeders. This is why they tend to swim around more when the lights are off.

so should i get him something during the day to help him hide?

I used to have one & he loved tall plants & toy castles, & was very active with 3 or more guppies in the tank to feed on

oh okay thanks. i got tall plants two of them in the corner and thats were he hides. ill get him some feeders as well

Get him a place to hide, but are you aware how large clown knives get? Or how large of a tank he will need

im avery aware. im getting a 210 gallon tank in 6 months so thats why i got him.
