Default Ahh im gonna go nuts with algea

Ok, last week i changed the water and added chemical because of the water turning green realllllyyyy fast like almost in a day, well here we are again we have green water again, how can i get this to go away, we usually dont have this problem and dont know what the problem is and i cant seem to find anything to get rid of it and i just want to screammmmmmmm.....any suggestions

First link is very informative but can be hard to read.........
Second link is all but useless IMHO and IME.

Greenwater is common and not difficult to get rid of cheaply also with no chemicals.

A 3-5 day blackout followed by a 50% waterchange works great. Be sure to cover the tank with a blanket to prevent ALL light from entering the tank.

A Diatom filter or uv filter will clear it up in 24-48 hrs. Be sure to do said waterchange afterwards.
