Default What to do with 30 gallon tank?

I just got rid of the last of my baby angels, so my 30 gallon is now mine again, finally.
I'm not sure what I want to do with it, though, so help me brainstorm

The current inhabitants are a half-dozen scarlet badis, a few oto cats, and BN pleco.

The tank is heavily planted, and it is "tall" (only 24" across).

Any iders?

Can't, has to fit in with the planted theme. I'm into rams and apistos, but they won't work with the badis - everyone would be on the bottom! Think mid to upper range

GUPPIES! haha so kidding.

I'd do a five sectioned betta tank. Each betta a different color. That would be so lovely.

That's a really good idea... I love bettas! I can't section my tank because it's already inhabited, but maybe a few female bettas?

Furcata rainbowfish! They are elegant looking and beautiful for a planted tank.

They may be hard to find locally and I'm not sure if you want to order online or not though. A more common schooler would be some Rummynose tetras. A group of 10 or so would be stunning.

A school of hatchetfish for the top. Marbled would be my choice.

Hmm, I'd say goodieds, but they like malawi water better than angel water, same with most really cool wild mollies.

I still love the betta idea. They have so much personality!!! I think that might be what you want, and even the females can have a lot of color! You just gotta find the special ones.

I've got a friend who has some divided tanks now with bettas and everything is just fine.

Oh well, you could just do guppies, but be careful because they are sooooooooooo hard to breed!!
(ha. not.)

i meant putting dividers so they couldnt see each other all the time otherwise they get used to eachother. instead its better to put somting in between so they cant see then remove the cards and they can see and they will flare up

I don't think you would want them to be able to see each other at all. That probably wouldn't be healthy for them to be flaring at each other unnecessarily - it would probably stress them out.

You could, however, keep 1 male and a few female bettas. The females are just as colorful as the males.
