some tanks take more than a month to cycle.
another reason could be the bioload. what fish do u hav in there and how many do u hav?

What is the size of your Tank?
Are your goldfish the comet species, or the Fancy Goldfish? |

Yes, tank size would also be helpful. And some tanks do take longer. I'd definitely do a water change now and even daily if you have to. Just because they are goldfish doesn't mean they should have to suffer with high ammonia and nitrites. Soon your nitrites should start to fall, since you already have nitrates. Do some water changes.

Also after your ammonia goes down your nitrites will climb then plummet its all part of the cycle

i have a 75 gallon tank. and i tested it today and the ammunia is at 0 and the no3 is at 20 ppm and no2 is between 5.0 and 10. we are taking out the gold fish in teh morning and taking them to my works tank that is completly cycled. and tehn i will do a 3/4 to 1/2 water change on my 75 gallon tank. and see what it does from there.
