I've got 3 clown loaches that I moved to my community tank after they didn't touch the snail population in my guppy tank (apparently they were eating all the fry) And tonight I found my mystery snails with what looks like chewed up snails. I figured the loaches would go after the easier to get ramshorn snails but apparently not. What i'm wondering is do clown loaches chew away at a shell to get to a snail or do they just go for the entrance to the shell? I've moved the snails since but it would be nice to know
Also, I know loaches get way to big for my 29g, they're just a temporary solution to my snail problem then they go back to the LFS for credit |
