is this tank new? it could be a bacterial bloom, and it'll eventually clear up on its own.

3 months is pretty new.

How much water did you change ?
Did you happen to clean the filter (or change the filter media) at the same time ?

What's your ammonia level ?

Is it cloudy white or cloudy green?
Test for ammonia nitrite and nitrate.

Cloudy white is often an increase in ammonia, which can still happen in a new tank like that. 3 Months is not that old.

What size is the tank and who are the inhabitants. Post test results and tank parameters and hopefully we can be of more help

Green, gray, white, brown, yellow, reddish, or just hazy but colorless are all caused by different things. Once you tell us the color of your cloud, we can be better able to tell you what's wrong and how to fix it.
In the meantime, try a change of carbon in your filter.
