those lines in the back, help to section it off....simply cut the plastic with a pair of diagonal cut pliers, cut out how ever many sections you need to get the filter and or heater to fit through

Thanks! It worked! How did you people over here initially fill your tanks without a python, like medium sized tanks about 20 Gallons to 29 Gallons because I don't have a python. Also anyone have a visi-therm heater? Because I can't get my suction cups on that peice you are supposed to attach it to is there a special way to do it?

I carry, and still carry, water in buckets. If you get a 5 gallon bucket, it's not that hard to fill it up. only a few trips. In my Bio class last year, I had to fill up a 65 gallon, and a 125 gallon with a 4 gallon bucket. Talk about alot of work...Stoopid thing took me 5 days to fill.

I use Visi therm heaters. It takes some work but the suction cups do have pieces that fit into the plastic holder. What I usually do is just screw it in there. Thats the only way I could get it to work.

My visi-therm heaters light isn't on even though it is plugged in does that mean the water is at the desired temp (78 Farenheit)?

You have to let it sit in the water for a while before you turn it on. That helps it set itself right, but I don't know the details of why LOL.
