Default This just stinks.

I left the house to go to the LPS to grab some guppies and endlers for my BP, Firemouth, and Convict. Came back home and found my 55 gallon on the floor smashed, seems the dogs got playing and knocked it over. Was my first planted tank (that survived), and was pretty nice of the BP to leave the plants alone. Seems the dogs got hold of the BP and my ABN, wish I would have got pics of the tanks. But anyways there is good news, Im back.

Wow, too bad you can't be sure there won't be a repeat performance now that the dogs have discovered they can actually get to that tempting red chew toy behind all that glass.

I'm sorry to hear about the situation, Phantom_Cichlid. I guess you'll have to get a bigger tank now so that the dogs won't be able to knock it over.

Oh man, time to put up a gate around your tank! I am sorry to hear about the loss. Thankfully my dog is smallish and old, no worries about her being able to knock over anything!

An aquarists worst nightmare .For your next tank you could just try to relocate it to where they cant get to it

In my experience, there is no problem in life that can't be solved by purchasing a bigger aquarium.

what about MTS? Purchasing a bigger aquarium only makes it worse :P

And sorry to hear about all that mark... Make the next one bigger!

Never!

Well, until your floor caves in, anyway...

Hey, Swami, is that your maculicauda or just a pic of one you found? Either way, it's a beauty.

No way, that is so sad! What a loss, not to mention a big mess. Were you angry at your dogs? It would be hard not to be I 'm sure.
