Hi,
can anyone tell me if a paradise fish would be OK with a Redtailed Black shark and / or Firemouth Cichlids or Altolamprologus calvus. What are peoples opinion on these fine looking fish. Leon |

IMO, A. calvus does best in a species tank, or with other non-aggressive Tangs. I'm not too sure about keeping a Paradise Gourami with a Fire Mouth, either (the Fire Mouth may be too aggressive towards it, especially if you have a pair)... But I don't see any compatibility issues with the Red-Tailed Shark. Paradise Gouramis are peaceful with other fish, but males will fight. They grow to about three inches in length, and are very personable and "friendly" fish. Also, they love to eat!
