Default Lunar lighting

Does anyone use these?

http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...0&pcatid=12760

If so how do you like them? and what color did you go with, the moon white or the nocturnal blue?

If you don't use that brand what kind of lunar lighting setup do you run on your tank?

thanks,

i use another kind of led lunar lighting, but im sure they its all about the same... mine is a 3/4 watt coralight ( http://www.bigalsonline.com/BigAlsUS...onglowledlight ) and im not a fan... its blue... and i mean BLUE... ive gotten used to it so its not soo bad... and its very spotlightish...

I plan on eventually doing a neon or something and wouldnt recommend my type... good luch on what your looking at and i woudl say go with white...

My light fixture has 6 bluemoon LEDs in it. I like mine. They're not too blue like others I've seen but the light kind of dissipates through the water column and the light ends up looking blueish-green. Its kind of weird but it looks neat. Having 6 means it pretty much covers the span of my tank (6 foot tank) although like predator said they can look kind of "spotlightish." With single LEDs though, you can't really get away from that.

I am about to order this. See if you like this. You can have 2 blue and 2 white to balance the color out

TheChosenTanker....

We have those lights at the lfs I work at. We just got them in stock about a month ago, so we plugged one in, and man...it is BRIGHT...lol

We put a single fixture on our 1000 gallon, SW reef display tank, which is about 3 feet deep, and the light it's self is another 2 feet above that, and it does a wonderful job illuminating the tank. I highly suggest them.

It is amazing how bright they are. When we turned them on when we took them out of the box, it accidentally shone in my eyes, and I couldn't see for about 3 minutes...lol But yes, they are very bright.
