Default Brown algae going away. Now green?

I have had my 10 gallon tank for about two months now, and I believe it had brown diatoms growing in it from what I have read on here. The gravel got a layer of brown all over it, a little was on the glass, and it coated the plants. I would vacuum the gravel, scrub the glass and wipe the plants once a week, and then after about 2 or 3 days it would all come back. Well this last time I cleaned it about 10 days ago now and hardly any came back. In fact, it actually looks the spots I miss on the plants when I wipe them got cleaner. So it looks like it went away just like you all said! Now around the edges of a couple leaves and on the stems, there is something that is a dark blueish green color. There are also a couple of spots of that on the gravel. Is that a new form of algae growing? Do I just clean it the same way I have been doing to the brown stuff? I haven't gotten the ghost shrimp yet but I will, and is that something they will eat?

Can you take a picture of the blue-green algae?

If not, then is it slimy like? Does it have an odor to it? If so, it may be Cyanobacteria (not really an algae), and you need to remove as much as you can. Is it in areas of low water flow?

What are your nitrates? Cyano can fix nitrogen, so usually nitrates are 0 when it appears....but not always.

Here are a couple pictures. The nitrates are at 10. The part on the gravel is just in a small area. I guess it is a low flow area but its not the lowest flowing area.
