Default To lighten the day

I have come across some pretty funny terms used by people in my day, here's a few of em, add as you see fit

Cichlids being called:

Sicklets (they need help, an allergy eater perhaps?)
chicklids (i dunno, a girl fish maybe?)
Chinchils (hold the fur)
Chicklets (got any grape flavored chicklets ? )
African chinchillids (heh)
Allergy eaters ( i need one for each nostril please)
Someone waiting for thier nitrosomas to "pop" (RFLMAO)

Some of these really made my day at the time

FUNNY!!! my 5 year old insists our pleco is the allergy cleaning fish. that must be why we don't ever have to buy any benedryl around here. sometimes, the pleco hides cause he ate too many allergies.....and.....well, he doesn't feel so good now.

How do you say "cichlid"? For some reason, I got the idea in my head that the first C made a 'ch' sound... so I've been calling them "chitch-lids" ;p

Edit: According to Dictionary.com, it's "sik'lid"... so the people calling them "Sicklets" are about right?
