Courtney,
When you get snails, Find a nice fishtank you can put them in that the fish won't eat them,
and let them breed for you.
That is what I do my my Puffer so he gets all kind of sizes, My cheese ball cantainer don't have fish anymore, just pond ramhorn snails.

Either that or go to your LFS and ask if they have any pest snail populations in thier plant tanks or displays.

Hey Courtney,
If it's possable, try to give him a small piece of nightcrawler, my GSP goes nuts with them, I only give him pieces that are no longer then his body, I try fo fine bigger then real tiny and not large ones, just something of an in between for him.
I didn;t know the lettus thing would get snails to reproduce, i'll have to try this one and see what happens.

I gave lettuce to some of my apple snails and they started laying eggs... but i will have to try to raise some feeder snails... the way they eat them, and they are to tiny to eat earth worms they get maybe 1.5 inches thats it
