couldn't tell, the microscope wasn't powerful enough, these guys are teeny tiny. i'll have to wait until next week when spring break is over and get the college and use the one-cell microscope.

Default might be solved!!!!

when i paid attention to the bottom of the tank, but bubbles there weren't moving, so i though to myself: there's no circulation there, isn't there supposed to be circulation throughout the tank? So i bought a new powerhead and removed the bubble vents for my u.g. filter and put the powerhead on instead, and....the water is still cloudy from stirring it all up, but the only bubbles there are what SHOULD be there. thx for your help guys, it's greatly appreciated.
