Everytime I go to feed algae wafers to my corydoras my gold's go crazy and just huddle around the wafers while my cory's will just swim right by. It's like the Gold's are hungry all the time and they don't care what it is. They eat their flakes the same way and usually get fed once a day when I get home from work. Is this normal or am I not feeding them enough?

I have two gold's and they are PIGS!!
I feed my Cories pellets and the golds will eat as much at they can on the way to the bottom, and then swim upside down in order to pick grab them off of the bottom. My only suggestion would be to drop a couple in for your gold's and then another for your Cories to eat while the golds are distracted. If the Cories don't show any love for them after that then try the pellets. They gobble them up. They also love the frozen brine shrimp, and regular store bought shrimp.

Feed the algae wafers after dark, the cories will be up at night more than the golds will be.

my odessa's do the same thing. i feed them first with granules, and then veggie crisps. while they are eating, i drop in shrimp pellets and algae wafers and the barbs and rainbows normally neglect them..

Thanks for the tips everyone I'll give it a try. Sorry for the late response I've been out of it for the last couple of days.
I did get a short vid of them going after the wafers though! LINK TO YOUTUBE VID |

I like the vid and the "feed us" sign, thats the most appropriate sign I've ever seen in a tank.

I guess my Gouramies aren't 'gold'. I think one of them might be called a flame Gouramies?
