question one, what is the highest temperature I can keep my black more in?
no . two, would a biorb, of 60 liters be suitable? its 50cm width, around 50 cm in height? I dont have room for a 60 liter tank, so I thought a biorb might be a good idea for my fish, right now he is in a 40 liter plastic tank, I have to change half the water every day, |

No, you need twice that for a healthy Black Moor. Biorbs don't have adequate filtration, and the surface area (space is what makes the tank viable) is inadequate as well. Not to mention that they're just straight-up overpriced. Spend that money on a 29 gallon with filter, and if you don't have a surface for it, get a stand. If you don't have room for an appropriately-sized tank, I would recommend returning the fish to the store and finding one that's not quite so big or messy.

I have my moor around 76ish degrees. he is in a 29 as well. I would not get anything smaller than a 20 for a moor.

I agree with Mama about adequate tankmates. Moors are slower at getting food. I have lionheads with my moor, which make fighting for food very easy. I also use sinking goldfish food, so they can just pick it off the sand..

My Moor is in a 29 with LOADS of bubbles floating in the water, when it looks like there is dust in the water from so many little bubbles, you know you have good aeration [I'd like to think so anyways].. My moor is 5 inches, Handicapped not only in sight but in body, so I don't dare get another fish for him.... Besides, he has me, and seems quite happy coming to the glass to smooch at me.
His temp is always around 74-76... when it gets to high, I place a frozen water bottle in the tank, and keep doing that... it's enough to bring i down the from 80, to more comfortable temps..... And he LOVES playing with the bottles. Gimpy, my Moor, Is very healthy, with all things considering [broken tail and near missing pelvic fin]... He's very happy with his home, and I also suggest plenty of hiding places for the tank... technically there should be 3/4 the tank taken up by hiding spots.... I bought a $65 log hide-away... he loves it. He's clueless to the hole in the top of the log.... but he loves it
