Default 20 Gallon Stocking

Hello,

I am going to be stocking my 20 Gallon tank again. Just wondering: Can I put any turtles in this tank?

maybe 2 stinkpot turtles.don't let the name get to you.i had 4 in my 55gallon and they didnt smell at all!!!
there is a variety of musk turtles but to me,stinkpots are the best.you sould probly put 2 in your 20 gallon.if you buy,do a little research first.you cant just put them in any water condition.

They seem quite hard to care for as far as I have read and also I do not think I will be able to find them in my area.

The care sheet I read said it needed to be housed outside. Now I am thinking of getting a crayfish, a newt or a pacman frog

pacman frogs are exelent pets but need a little more care.crayfish need to eat feeder guppies.newts can eat regular reptile pellets but need a live treat once in awile.

I don't mind the feeder guppies, I also don't mind the pacman frog care, the newt will be the easiest since I will probably feed a staple of mealworms. Can they eat superworms or are they too small?

alright, thanks. I need to wait for a bit though as I just found out. Because I need to pay for my new phone soon. Then I need to get some money for the set-up etc. + i have tournaments for the next two weeks so I will be asking a lot of questions.
The main one is:

How do I convince my dad to let me get a pacman frog? he said he doesn't like reptiles and he said they are ugly.

I am gettign a 10g soon for cray fish. I found some GIANT ones at LFS I plan on getting two big ones ( Yes I know they will fight) and setting that. They seem real easy to care for.

I don't see why I think you are thinking of the blue ones maybe? I am talking about ones you find in the river/creek. I think 10 is a good size if it out grows I will upgrade to a 20. I would put him in 55 but my fish/plants would be ate from him lol.

The Eastern Musk Turtle (Sternotherus odoratus) will emit a musky, skunk-like smell if it is disturbed or handled.

my crayfish loved peas and prawns. i think it is 20 gallon minimum though, we had 2 in a 46 gallon and they stayed seperate ends of the tank and never came into contact, we had to take them back as they were eating my fish
