bark in fishtank?

anyone ever used bark in their tank? I went driftwood searching today and found some cool textured/holey pieces of bark. would it be okay to put into my tank after boiling?

Getting it to sink will be your biggest obstacle.

I bought some non-Malaysian (non-hardwood) driftwood on eBay a year or so ago and it took months to truly waterlog and sink. And that was with some boiling!!

worry not about the bark...just the bite....always good to try to id wood and such you are going to put in your tank..many are quite toxic.

And that was with some boiling!! __________________ 46G Bowfront: 1 large snakeskin gourami, 1 blue gourami, 2 pearl gouramis, 11 black neon tetras, 4 panda corys, 1 albino pleco. All gourami's are female as far as I know. Lighting: 78 Watts (1.7 wpg) T5HO Plants: Java Moss, Flame Moss, Marsilea Minutia, Staurogyne sp., floating Myrio Simulan, and quite a lot of other stuff I don't know the name of. Substrate: 80 lbs Eco-Complete.
