Default How accurate is this?

Has anybody used these before? How accurate are they in your opinion? I realize there are many more factors but can this be used as a good starting point?

IMO it may be a good starting point for small fish, but not all of them. Depends on the type of fish, filtration, aggression level, etc....like you said, depends on alot of other things besides length and gallons.

I wouldn't even think about it. There are far too many variables for a simple calculator like that.

you can easily overcrowd a tank and yet not ever have a problem with it.just as long as you know what you are doing.
