Default Will shrimps eat plants?

I would like to get a couple of shrimps, to help clear up the left over food.
However I have a few plants, and I dont want them to get damaged.

Will the shrimps eat the plants?
What shrimps should I get?
Can anyone give me a good website to the different types of shrimps?

Thanks

The shrimp will be quick snacks for both, most likely.

My angel ate my amano, and my Tetra and Clowns ate my cherries.

I do have some decent size amano shrimp that have survived in the tank with tetra and clowns.
