My friends and I wished to breed Pacific little neck clams. What I wanted to know is how could we do this? Also what sized tank? My buddy asked me to ask here(I know it has been just over a year since I lasted came here) Filter system? The entire works really.

I don't think you're going to have much success trying to breed clams in a home aquarium...that's a project that requires a large aquaculture system, if not a way to spawn them in a closed off area of a bay.

Hmmm... I have to admit that I don't know a good answer for this one.
I will offer that if you want to breed clams you're going to have to accomplish something very difficult, namely, keeping the water full of floating particulate food while simultaneously keeping it free of nitrogenous waste. |
