Default Neons

Will my bichir eat neons if I put them in my tank,

It's a 55g and the bichir is only bout 3-4 inches.
I already got a pleco 2 pearl gourami's and 3 goldfish(getting rid of those once i figure out how to transport them) looking to get angelfish in next couple of days

Bichir may not at that size, but angels will love 'em.

if your Bichir would stop eating them then i think a way for4 your angels not to eat the neons is have the neons in the tank first and probably buy the angel as a baby so it grows up with the neons and doesent think of them as food

I did that, my angels ate the neons after being together for years. Some fish are too dumb to reclassify something that now fits in its mouth as food, but not cichlids.

Learned the hard way, ...angels WILL most likely dine on neons at some point.

Mine were in there with them for a year before they saw the BUFFET sign & commenced to helping themselves!
