You all know my nan had a large clown loach, she got him on thursday and since then he hasnt ate a thing!
He hides most of the day then comes out at night...swimming about and up and down the tank, she has tried everything. Bloodworm, brine-shrimp, flake and he wont eat any of it. Do you think he still needs time to settle down before he starts eating?? What can we do??

He may need a bit longer to settle in, but if all else fails, try some live blackworms. Live foods almost always stimulate appetite.

Well, I asked my LFS and they said he'll eat almost anything...bloodworm, flake, algae-wafers etc. We have tried everything but he desnt seem to be interested.
The LFS said that he needs more time to settle in before he starts eating and now I guess that we need to give him more time and not get worried yet! Thanks

If you can find some pond snails you could give those a try, they like the small ones the best.
Also at my work we feed our clown loaches earthworm pellets and they love those. |
