Hi, have some granite / slatey type rocks that i used to have in my first aqarium that contain 2 mexican walking fish. When they passed on several years ago i put the rocks in the garden. I would like to put them in my new tank. Do i need to prepare them in anyway. Apart from a good rinse.

If you used any chemicals in your garden ( insecticide, etc. ), I wouldn't use those rocks in an aquarium.

I WOULD PROBALLY JUST SCRUB THEM REAL GOOD IN HOT WATER THEN SET THEM OUT IN THE SUN. THIS IS WHAT I DID WITH A FEW ROCKS THAT HAD BEEN N MY SHED FOR A WHILE.
