A bristlenose female would fit. The shark won't, it grows bigger, get at least a 60g.

I kept a red tailed black shark in a 20g tank before, but it didn't do it any favours. If you want something similar then a red fin shark would be your better option.
Also what other fish do you have?

If you have a big enough tank with enough hiding places, pH of around 7, you can keep virtually any fish together as long as all the fish are around the same size and these two groups of fish are avioded: Serrasalmus Tetradon(figure eights and dwarfs are the exception). I keep a successful community of fish in a 4 foot tank including the following families: Cichlids, tetras, loaches, gouramis, barbs, rainbows, livebearers, killiefish, catfish, puffers. |

To answer your first question. Yes they will get along fine together. I have them in the same tank and they have been there for 3 yrs together.

Well red finned sharks are more likely to be less aggressive so thats that.

Number one I don't apretiate carcasm, and number two redtailed sharks and red finned sharks grow to about the same size anyway so thats another reason not to be so full of yourself. All we are trying to do is to help people who have a problem that they need solving so if you don't need any help then I suggest that this isn't the place for you.
