The Right Thermometer

I was wondering what was the best type of thermometer to use. I have a glass one and i was just wondering if it was the best type to have.

The one I am using now, and like the best, is a round glass thermometer that sticks to the inside of the tank with a suction cup. I did have a glass one with a thin metal backing, which I believe broke because the metal flexed. I had a round glass one that floated, and well, that was a pain in the ass chasing around the tank. I do have stick on strips, but I find the just don't work well, they either give a range of temp, or read nothing at all, and seem to be sensitive to sunlight, which doesn't help. So....I guess I am endorsing the all glass one, held with suction cups, may have even been a Walmart item.
