Gday. Today we were out looking at the goldies, and we notcied one wasnt looking up to scratch. We put him in the hospital tank inside and had a look. He has brown/black splotches on and around his gills, as well as near his anus. Also displays clamped fins. Currently treating with primafix and a bit of salt. Any ideas what it is, and any tips for a cure?
Thanks all. |

Tank conditions please. Water temp, filtration, tank size, tank inhabitants, feed schedule, water change schedule.

Lets seem they are in a 4mx6mx1m tank, (about 25,000L, or 6604.3Gal), with about 150 other goldies. Water temp is about 22 derees celcius. Filtration is as such: water flows from a 20,000L overflow tank, into two pool-size sand filters, then to two huge canisters, then to 2 40W UV sterilizers. Overall flow is about 190LPM (~40Gal/min). Feeding is done twice a day, at midday, and in the afternoon.
