Default Changing my Power filter.

Hi,
I am changing my powerfilter from a whisper 30-60 to a penguin 350 with bio wheels for my 55 gallon tank. How long should i run both filters before taking the old one out?

about two weeks... that should allow enough time for the bacteria to colonize the new filter.
