Default What are they?

Does anyone know what these are? A co-worker got them for me, as he was told they were white clouds, I have six of those, and I know they definitely aren't white clouds. The only pictures I've been able to find that are even close are of danios, but I'd like to know for sure what they are. I've had em for probably 4 or 5 months, and just finally got tired of not knowing.

I found this picture of a White Cloud, it does look like your fish. Here is the link:

Anyway, I can't find anything else.

They look like white clouds to me too. I had some last year for awhile but gave them to a friend because they didn't play nice with my betta (that just died )

Well, I have them in with my betta, and they don't bother him at all. I have 6 white clouds in the other tank, and these are almost twice the size of my white clouds. They are also missing the distinctive red fins on top and bottom that all my white clouds have, as do all the pictures I've seen of them, including the link above.
The reason I thought they were danios is that their tail shape is similar, but maybe I'm way off with that.

White cloud (mountain minnows) are very peaceful fish, They are not agressive at all. Good hardy fish people use to cycle tanks with (for those that don't use the fishless method). Very inexpensive and fun to watch as they are a schooling fish.

Well that's the weird thing. I never saw them bother any other fish in the tank but they would nip my bettas fins. I never understood why since i was told they are very very peacefull.

thanks for the tip, they are definitely red-tailed rasboras. I did some looking around, and found some pictures that look exactly like my fish.
