I have a 10 gallon tank that just recently now has 3 guppies, 2 female 1 male, 2 red rosy minnows, and a cory, would this be considered overcrowded for a 10 gallon tank?
No. I think that sounds just about right.
We've had that many and more in a ten gallon - it's all about filtration and water changes. The better filter you have and the more water changes you do, the more small fish you can keep in a small tank. (Kinda cancels out the 1 inch per gallon rule)
Not that the 1 inch per gallon isn't a good guideline, just that it's not concrete, especially when it comes to small fish like guppies and rosy reds.

Not as long as you keep up on the water changes and such. My sister's 10g has more fish than that, and it is doing just fine. So long as you don't notice any signs of agression and such, you should be a okay.

actually Tori it still does apply. 1 gl per inch....in his case he can have 20 1/2 inch fish. eventually the guppies, if cared for right will hit an inch +.
you CAN over stock your tank....but that mean you need pump up ur filteration and double your water changes. overstocking is a knack. ask Loha.....he is GOD when it comes to overstockin tanks and yet have them grow well.
