I noticed you didnt put the angelfish in there, does that mean you will be getting rid of it? cuz tiger barbs dont get along with angels if I remember correctly. only other thing would be to get a smaller, or medium sized pleco.

the spinies are zig zag and peacock, right?

Tiger barbs dont get along with angels, just had to remove mine from the tank, 14 of them bugging my poor angel. They didnt seem to bother my betta much but isnt recommended. Um as far as mean looking, columbian sharks, raphael cats what comes to mind right now.

The pictus are going to try to eat the tigers at some point, and eventually will be able to do so.

haha well damn, looks like the guy at the store just wanted my money !
i know the rope will get long and he is 10" now and by the time he gets too big ill have another tank to keep him in, the pictus are just babies so i am sure they wont be hurting my tigers too much right now. they all seem to be getting along great except the gouramis dont seem to stay much at the top, i always hearsd they were top dwellers ?

I have watched more fish with tails sticking out of thier mouth for 4 days than i care to count. Catfish can open thier mouths to ridiculous aperatures and half swallow some pretty unlikely seeming candidates.
And catfish with barbels and forward facing mouths are

A) Piscivores
B) Probably nocturnal (keyword here: PROBABLY)

I have witnessed this over and over and over again. And if something CAN fit in a fishes mouth, at some point it WILL.

Again, Caveat Emptor.
