Blue Gurami
Koi
Tiger Barb
Green Tiger Barb
sword tail
rainbow shark
sepera tetra

How can u tell these fish from boy and girl help me pls. I dont trust walmart and pet-smart.

No luck on sexing the Koi. May want to try the goldfish section.

Dorsal fin = ? dont kill me for that.
can a tiger breed with a green tiger barb.
k so now i need a female sword tail.
and a female rainbow shark.
to hard to tell with my serpae tetra i think he is just fat.

no, dont mix rainbow sharks. you arent going to be able to breed them anyway.

sexing blue gouramis is very easy. the very top fin is much shorter and rounder on females, while on laes it is long and pointy.

I meant don't have more than one rainbow in a tank. they hate eachother. they are very hard to breed, mostly cause they dont get along very well. agression is a problem.

ive seen abotu 20 of them in a little 10 gallon in pet smart so sad. so how else do u breed them put them next to each other in a box with holes? <- joke.

to petsmarts defense... its best when dealing with highly aggressive fish to overstock if you can't keep them singlely the aggression is spread out this way... They are also in this situation for a fairly short time... so I don't see a huge problem in having a lot in a tank at a pet store.
