Exclamation Dissapearing fish

This is getting absolutely ridiculous to me, I checked out my tank today, one glo light absolutely gone like a friggin ghost dissapeared over night, anyone else have this happen out of no where? Might be my pleco eating dead corpses the glo light was full grown when I bought it a while back hmm..

Even herbivorous fish will eat a dead fish's remains. If he did die than its not uncommon for any of the fish listed to dispose of the corpse. Good if the fish dies of natural causes. Can be fatal if the fish was diseased.

Ya my neons have always disappeared with no corpses. Maybe neons and glo-lights are more tasty I dont know. I keep losing mine, I had 15 neons when I moved them to the 55 and I'm down to 5.

Default Disappearing fish.

Hi,

This will sound stupid, but when fish vanish over night, the first thing I do (after checking the floor around the tank), is check the filter. Alive or dead, they appear in there more often than you would think.

Take care.
