Default Might be purchasing my boss's 75g bow tank, need some input on pricing.....

As of right now my boss has a 75g Bow Front tank, with a black 2 door cabinet stand. its a saltwater tank right now. He has alot of live rocks star fish' are growing all over the glass and he only has 2 fish in there. The tank and stuff is about 9 yrs old. I am just curious on how much I should offer him for the set-up. Heres everything there is as of right now.

The tank & stand, 4 ft lighting fixture that holds 2- 4 ft bulbs. The glass canopy/top. a BIIIIIIIG HOB (hang on back filter) about 4 filter pumps, in the water that create a current. A few power strips, surge protectors. alot of live rocks nothing special tho, he never takes care of the tank and its all dirty etc. Theres 2 small fish a blue dempy and a black damsel or dempy i dunno, a small black fish with 2-3 light gray stripes. He told me he spent about $2,000 on everything when he first bought it all 9 yrs ago. he told me to make him a reasonable offer. SO what do yall think I should offer him. I'm not sure how much just the 75g bow front tank, stand, lighting, hood etc costs brand new from a store?!?!?

But heres the thing, i dont want it to be a salt water set-up. Well as of right now I dont, I am going to look into it and see exactly how difficult it is to maintain a big SW tank. So if i dont keep it a SW tank, I want to make it a nice african cichlid tank. So I would have the get rid of the live rock and the 2 fish etc. But i might tell him i will just buy the tank stand lighting filters etc from him and sell the rocks and fish for him to a LFS or someone on these boards if they are interested. But thats another story for another time.

So bascially How much should I offer him / how much should I expect to pay for a set up like this?!?!?
Thanks for the help!!
