An ice storm in GA? It's almost beach season there isn't it*lol*........If your above freezing it is!

LOL!

We usually have a few ice/snow storms (usually just ice) each year... I'm sure it's nothing compared to what y'all get in Maine! So far tonight, it hasn't gotten very bad...

Try living in Wisconsin or Northern Minnesota THAT SUCKS! We get soo much snow sometimes it knocks down power lines! and lately we've been getting freezing rain one hour and snow the next!

Well...

Now the power is out.

My tank is covered in a heavy blanket, and if it's going to be off for a long time, I'll wrap it in aluminum foil too. I'm glad I got all of my fish moved over the the 120g! (Larger volume of water will cool slower...)

Well, the power came back on around 2:00 this morning. My 120g dropped from 78F to 76F, my fry tank dropped from 80F to 73F (they're still active, though), and my 60g (which only has one 5" pleco now) dropped from 78F to 75F. They were all wrapped in foil and blankets... So far, all the fish in those tanks look okay. I did loose two of my male bettas, though (they were in 1g containers).

A lot of big limbs (10-30ft. long) fell out of trees (and half of a tree!) in my backyard, but luckily none of them hit the house! Things are starting to melt now!
