cslcium cover glass what to do?

Hi, if I get the tank I am aftyer it has a cover glass, I am worries about the calcium, will it be easy to clean off?

Also it is getting down the side of my filter box, (juwel) where the corner is cut off if you know what I mean, how can I get it off or stop it???

Take a paper towel dampened with vinegar. Wipe it off. You can also use a scrub pad (something like an algae scrubber) dampen it with vinegar and scrub. As for prevention, well, with hard water, there really is no preventing it, just maintaining it...

You could always use RO water. That water will pretty much be neutral as in it's pretty pure water.

just scrub it off once and awhile. I have hard water and in my 10 gallon i don't get alot of build up anyway

Like stated above (and it is truer than you will find), its hard to matain with hard water. A vinegar wipe won't cut it. Even a full soak in bleach won't remove it. Once its there only strong chemcals or a razor blade will rid you of it. A different watersource is your best bet. Other than that, keep your water laevel high enough to prevent it from sticking to your tank walls.

well my water is pretty soft, if I use vinager will it not get into the water, and if it does can it do any damage?

you may end up with a small amount in the water, but not likely enough to mess up your water chemistry. If it was going to effect anything, it would be your ph, so after you are done, you may want to test the water, specifically for the ph levels. But the vinegar is probably the safest, and most effective way to do the job, I use it all the time.
